Mil Palmeras Guide: Found in the south of the Alicante region of Spain, Mil Palmeras is a notable seaside vacation resort with adequate facilities and a perfect vacation spot for touring the southern Costa Blanca, and the Costa Calida. It is one of the desirable Orihuela Costa resorts and is just 20 minutes driving distance from San Javier (Murcia) airport. Its major attraction is its well kept sandy beach, especially at Riomar where it can get extremely packed in the summer season.

Lapped by the gentle waves of the Mediterranean, Mil Palmeras is in the Alicante province of the Valencia region (autonomous community), adjacent to its border with the Costa Calida and Murcia.

There are a great deal of other coastal resorts nearby, which you could pay a visit to on your trip in Mil Palmeras, the nearest being Dehesa de Campoamor, Torre de la Horadada and Cabo Roig. All the neighbouring resorts (including these Three) have excellent white sandy beaches. Take a look a tiny bit further southwards and you will discover the Mar Menor, a unique inland sea with only a slim channel connecting it to the Med.
